In the field of Food Technology, classroom learning should go hand in hand with practical experience at enterprises to help students gain a deeper understanding of production processes, operational standards, and professional working environments. With the mission of supporting the next generation of talent in Vietnam’s food industry, FIS Factory welcomed and supported K49 students from the Food Technology Department of Can Tho University in a practical internship program at the factory.
The program not only provided students with opportunities to expand their professional knowledge but also allowed them to experience a modern production environment, gain practical experience, and build career orientation for the future. This meaningful activity also reflects the strong connection between businesses and educational institutions that FIS Factory continuously strives to develop.
1. Practical learning opportunities for food technology students
For Food Technology students, having direct exposure to production lines is a valuable opportunity to better understand the knowledge learned in the classroom. During this internship program, K49 students from Can Tho University had the chance to study and work in a real production environment at FIS Factory, a facility equipped with professional manufacturing systems and modern operations.
Here, students explored various stages of food production, from raw material receiving, quality control, and product research to actual production operations. Through observation and direct discussions with the technical team, students gained a clearer understanding of quality standards and management processes in today’s food industry.
Beyond factory tours, the program also encouraged students to ask questions, exchange experiences, and access practical insights that academic environments may not fully provide. This has made FIS Factory a meaningful destination for learning and internships for young people passionate about the food industry.
2. Experiencing real production pocesses
One of the highlights of the internship program was the opportunity to directly observe and experience production processes in a real business environment. At FIS Factory, students were introduced to a standardized manufacturing system with various specialized production areas.
From raw material processing and formula development to manufacturing and quality inspection, each stage was carefully explained by the technical team to help students clearly visualize how operations are carried out in the food industry. This experience allowed students to understand that food production requires not only technical knowledge but also precision, carefulness, and effective coordination among departments.
Through their internship at FIS Factory, students also had the opportunity to learn about food safety and hygiene standards, quality control procedures, and methods for optimizing production efficiency. These valuable experiences helped students strengthen their practical thinking and better prepare for their future careers.

3. A learning environment for knowledge sharing and experience
In addition to technical knowledge, a real working environment is also essential for students to develop soft skills and professional attitudes. Throughout the internship at FIS Factory, students had opportunities to interact with technical experts, operational staff, and professionals currently working in the food industry.
Practical sharing sessions about career experiences, working skills, and industry trends provided students with fresh perspectives and valuable insights. This was not only an opportunity to learn but also a chance for students to better define their future career goals.
Representatives of the student group expressed their excitement about experiencing the real working environment at FIS Factory. Many students shared that the program helped them gain a clearer understanding of careers in Food Technology while motivating them to continue learning and developing themselves.
4. Businesses supporting education and young generations
The connection between businesses and educational institutions plays an important role in developing high-quality human resources for the food industry. With a sustainable development orientation, FIS Factory continuously focuses on activities that support students through factory tours, internships, and practical learning experiences.
These activities not only provide professional knowledge but also help students gain early exposure to the corporate environment, improve practical skills, and better understand real industry demands. At the same time, they create a bridge between academic theory and practical application in manufacturing.
Through this internship program for K49 students from Can Tho University, FIS Factory continues to affirm its role as a business willing to share experience, support education, and accompany young generations on their career development journey.
With a long-term vision connected to education and practical training, FIS Factory will continue collaborating with universities to organize meaningful internship and experiential programs for students in the future. These activities are not only valuable learning opportunities for young generations but also important contributions to the sustainable development of Vietnam’s Food Technology industry.
